Terry J. Thibodeau
November 30, 1954 — July 11, 2022
Born in Bennington on November 30, 1954, he was the son of the late Edward and Lucy (Marshal) Thibodeau. Terry received his education in Bennington and was a 1973 graduate of Mount Anthony Union High School. He later attended McCann Institute where he became a Certified Surgical Technologist.
Terry has been employed at Southwestern Vermont Medical Center in Bennington for over 20 years.
Terry enjoyed the outdoors. He spent most of his time recently tending to his large gardens and mowing his lawn and fields. Terry was an avid hunter, loved the game of golf and rooted for the Pittsburgh Steelers.
Survivors include his Wife, Marie Lynn Thibodeau of North Bennington. His Daughter's Cori Nicewander and her Wife Kari of Hartford CT and Kelly Thibodeau of Sarasota, Florida. Three Sons, Shawn Thibodeau and his Wife Holly of Shaftsbury, VT, Travis Thibodeau and Meghan Ingle of Bowling Green Ohio, Tyler Thibodeau of North Bennington, VT. Stepchildren include Laura Keefner of Colonie NY, Jacob Keefner and Wife Nicole of Valley Falls, NY, and Lisa Burgess of Pensacola, Fl. Grandchildren include Connor, Riley and Molly Mackey, Makenna, Garrett and Cameryn Thibodeau, Caleb and Landon Thibodeau, Victoria Riccitelli and Bodhi Burgess.
Four sisters, Alberta Harrington, Kathy Aiken and her husband Gerald, Dawn Mack and her husband Russ, Susan Crossman and her husband David along with several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Friends may call at Mahar and Son Funeral Home on Friday, July 15 from 6:00pm to 8:00pm when the family will be in attendance. There will be a celebration of life at a later date.
If friends desire, contributions in memory of Terry J. Thibodeau may be made to the Southwestern Vermont Regional Cancer Center or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital through the office of Mahar and Son Funeral Home, 628 Main St. Bennington, VT 05201.
