Terry Michael Rousseau

Terry Michael Rousseau, 59, a resident of North Bennington, VT passed away peacefully on May 13th, 2022. He was born in Bennington, VT on February 17th, 1963 to the late Richard and Ruth (Johnston) Rousseau. Terry received his education at local schools.
He married the former Candi Reynolds on June 10th, 1989 in Pownal, Vermont.
Terry loved spending time outdoors, especially by going hunting or taking a trip in his camper. He was a true outdoorsman. Terry was also very proud to be a deacon at the Capstone Baptist Church.
Terry is survived by his wife of over 30 years, Candi Rousseau. His three children; Victoria (Seth) Owens, of Mt. Juliette, TN, Raelee Rousseau, of North Bennington, VT and Caleb (Mariah) Rousseau, of Shaftsbury, VT. Two grandchildren; Sylvia and Naomi. His two siblings; Rebecca (Demasse) Laflamme, of North Adams, MA, and Kevin (Melissa) Rousseau, of Otis, MA. An uncle, Hugh D. Johnston, of Lakeland, FL. Terry is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
He was predeceased by his parents, with his mother Ruth having passed only a few hours after he did. Terry was also predeceased by his step mother, Nancy Rousseau, a sister, Wanda Rousseau and an aunt, Dorothy Johnston.
Friends and family are invited to call at the Grace Christian School, located at 104 Kocher Drive Bennington, VT 05201, on May 21st, 2022 from 1-3pm. A memorial service will be held at 3pm. There will be a reception immediately following the service.
Memorial contributions in honor of Terry may be made to the Grace Christian School through the office of the Mahar and Son Funeral Home 628 Main St. Bennington, VT 05201.
