Sharon A. Yarnall, 71, a resident of Bennington, VT, died unexpectedly Wednesday, March 30, 2022, at her residence.
She was born on November 28, 1950, in New Haven, Connecticut, and was the daughter of the late Oresta "Bunny" Pallman and William Pallman. Sharon received her education in North Haven, Connecticut, and later received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Southern Vermont College in Bennington, Vermont.
In addition to spending time with her family and hanging out with her best friend, Jai Holley, Sharon's passion was singing. She was a long time member of North Haven Junior Combination Drum Corps, and then Cheshire Senior Combination Corps, earning State Champion horn player in both divisions. More recently, she was a member of the Bennington County Choral Society and the Vermont Symphony Orchestra. She was well known for her singing at St. John the Baptist Church in North Bennington as well as her bell playing and singing at the Second Congressional Church in Bennington. Her favorite piece to sing was Mozart's Requiem. Before the pandemic, Sharon enjoyed going to trivia night at the Publyk House in Bennington.
Survivors include a daughter, Antoinette Squiers (Shane), a son, Sean Yarnal (Rosalie Bailley), a brother Kenneth Pallman (Kara), all of Bennington, and a sister, Trecia (Scott) Hamilton of Stowe, Vermont. Her grandchildren; Jeremy, Samatha, Damian, Ian, Emma, Chloe and several great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her parents and a brother, William J. Pallman, Jr.
A Celebration of Life will be held for Sharon on Saturday April 9, 2022 at the Second Congregational Church on Hillside St. in Bennington at 3pm. The family will be in attendance at 2:15pm until the time of the service. Following the service, there will be a reception in the hall.
