Scott E Kimball

August 31, 1962 — November 5, 2025

Bennington

After a long courageous fight, Scott Edward Kimball passed peacefully in his home Wednesday, November 5th 2025.

Scott is proceeded in death by his mother Barbara Kelly, and sister Deborah Angell. He is survived by his brother Raymond Angell, daughters Amanda and Cassi, son Brian, god daughter/niece Debi and son in-laws Joshua, David and Trevor. As well as his grandchildren and nieces/nephews: Chris, Heather, Mina, Keegan, Randy, Andrea, Maizey. Kalee, Morgan, AjaRea, August, Jay, Kayden, Wayne, Landen, Brayden, Keelin, Caridee, Bria-Grace, Oliver, Kinzlee, Leliani, Amelia, Davianna and Lauren.

Born August 31, 1962 Scott grew up in Western Massachusetts, moving to Vermont later in life to be closer to his family. Scott had pride and love for all of his family including his animals Peanut his dog who preceded him, and his cats George and Missy who are being loved by family. Scott was also very proud of his hard-won sobriety and was dedicated to volunteer work and being a recovery coach at Turning Point. Scott was a quiet man, but always had a kind word and a story to tell to the ones he loved the most. Whether it was an epic burnout or hunting and fishing, he never ran out of adventures to tell. His love for all thing's cars and the outdoors will carry on in his memory with all of those who are still here both in stories and doing those things he always loved.

As we sit here and finish writing this we fist would like to add that Sheila, Kimmy, Tony, Scott, and Cindy although not related all held a special place in his life and will never be forgotten. As the two eldest nieces of our uncle we were able to watch him also grow up at the same time we did. We were able to see the joys of falling in love, becoming a father, watching them dress up for dances or graduation, becoming a grandfather again and again as he would say. No matter where he was in life he would always pick up the phone as family was all that mattered. "This ain't the end, you're not gone you just found a new place to call home." "Just like a memory you never left you just left too soon." Love you always and forever "Uncle-Grandpa" your nieces, nephews, children, grandchildren and always your brother.

The family is confirming a place for a Celebration of Life on December 6th. Heather Chase will have more information posted on her FB page when it is confirmed and you can message her with any questions as well.
