Sandra (Sandi) Kay Manno, 69, of Bennington Vermont, unexpectedly passed away Monday April 13, 2020 at Albany Medical Center.
Sandi was born on June 30, 1950 in Spartanburg SC to Howard Eaton and Francis Eaton (Brock). She went to Yonkers High School in Yonkers NY. She went on to become a proud homemaker.
Sandi had a fulfilling life as a mother, sister, friend, and proud GG (great-grandmother.) She enjoyed the simple things in life like spending time playing with her grandchildren, dancing around the house, and talking with friends and family. Sandi appreciated a good book and relished a good meal.
She is survived by her ex-husband Vincent Manno, her daughter Amy Stone and her husband Frank, her son Tony and his wife Teri, her son Vince and his wife Erin of Orange Park FL, her son Michael and his wife Brooke of Brookfield CT, as well as many grandchildren, and her beloved great grandchildren. She is also survived by her two sisters Hilda Saul and Debra Eaton, and her nieces and nephews.
In addition to her mother Francis and father Howard, she was predeceased by her sister Mary and nephew Clint Buck.
Due to Covid-19 no funeral will be taking place. We will be holding a celebration of life for Sandi around her birthday at the end of June. If you would like to join us, more information will be available from the family as the celebrations nears.
As we remember the simple things like taking GG to the store, her coming over for coffee, dancing with the grand babies, and talking trash while playing cards, we are reminded of what George Eliot said, "Our dead are never dead to us until we have forgotten them."
