Phillip Richmond Viereck (Viereck)

A gathering to celebrate the life of Phillip R. Viereck will be held on Sunday, August 6, at the Unitarian-Universalist hall on School Street in Bennington from 4:30 to 7 p.m. It will be a potluck supper, with beverages and place settings provided. Phillip died of Alzheimer's at the Vermont Veterans Home on May 27. His ashes will be spread by his family and other descendants on the spruce forest he planted on the northeast corner of his Cold Spring Farm in Shaftsbury.
