Patricia Galusha

December 31, 1969 — March 26, 2022

Patricia A. Galusha, 71, a resident of Mountain View Road in Bennington, Vermont died Saturday March 26, 2022 at the Southwestern Vermont Medical Center in Bennington following a long illness.

She was born in Springfield, Kentucky May 31, 1951. She was the daughter of the late Gordon F. Muckle Sr. and Lillian (Sweet) Muckle. Pat received her education in Bennington and was a 1969 graduate of Bennington High School.

She married Harold C. Galusha May 1, 1970. Mr. Galusha died March 28, 2017.

Pat had been employed at Eveready Battery in Bennington for 35 years from which she retired.

She was a former member of the Bennington Moose Lodge. She enjoyed watching soap operas. She also enjoyed bowling in the couple's league at Bennington Lanes and especially enjoyed attending sporting events that her boys participated in.

Survivors include two sons, Harold "Butch" Galusha Jr. and Scott Galusha both of Bennington. Three grandchildren, Alexander Galusha, Becket Galusha and Hayleigh Hamilton (Galusha). Two brothers, David Muckle (Jean) of San Angelo, Texas, Michael Muckle (PJ) of Bennington, Debbie Muckle of Melbourne, Florida and Brenda Muckle of Bennington. Along with several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was pre-deceased by a brother Gordon Muckle.

A graveside service will be held at the family lot at Park Lawn Cemetery at a time to be announced.

There will be no calling hours or funeral services.
