Kenneth Alan Stemp

BENNINGTON-
Kenneth Alan Stemp, 72, a resident of 968 Gore Road in Bennington, Vermont passed away peacefully on May 16th 2022 at the Southwestern Vermont Medical Center.
He was born in Bennington, VT on May 30th, 1949 to the late Francis George and Florence (Racicot) Stemp. Kenneth attended local schools, graduating from Mount Anthony Union High School with the class of 1968.

He married the former SallyAnn Alberts in Bennington on December 31st 1990.

He had two children.

He was employed for many years as a journeyman electrician with his uncle Ray Racicot. In earlier years, he was employed by Williams and Bugbee as a mechanic.

Kenneth enjoyed spending time golfing, riding his Harley and smoking cigars. He especially enjoyed going for rides with his brother Tommy. He loved to watch Nascar, the New York Giants, and the Yankees. Above all, he enjoyed spending his time with his friends and family. He was proud to have coached MAYAA Football.

Kenneth was proud to be a life member of the ELKS Lodge #567 and enjoyed spending time having a few beers with his buddies.

Kenneth is survived by his wife of over thirty years, SallyAnn Stemp. His two children; Scott Alan Stemp, of Newport, NH and Carrie Lynn Wszolek, of Manchester, NH. He is also survived by three brothers; Steven (Mary) Stemp, Dennis (Jeanette) Stemp, and Bryon (Linda) Stemp. Also surviving is a sister in law, Jill Stemp. Kenneth is also survived by many grandchildren, nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by a brother, Thomas Stemp.
