Janet Elizabeth Holton

January 26, 1955 — March 6, 2022

Janet Elizabeth Holton, 67, a resident of Applegate Drive in Bennington, VT died Sunday March 6, 2022 at the Southwestern Vermont Medical Center following a long illness.

She was born in Albany, New York January 26, 1955. She was the daughter of the late Raymond Groff Sr. and Shirley Ann (Girvin). She received her education in Delmar, NY and was a graduate of Bethlehem High School in Delmar.

In earlier years Janet had been employed at Grand Union and Price Chopper, both in Bennington

Janet has battled many illness's throughout her life. She was a cancer survivor.

She loved her family and grandchildren. She enjoyed music and making cards for everyone she loved.

Survivors include her daughter, Amy Cuddihy (Robert Welch) of Charlotte, N.C. Her granddaughters, Whitney and Sophia Welch of Charlotte. Her step father, Ronald Unser Sr. (Connie) of Glenmont, NY. Her sisters, Lynn Bossard of Albany, NY, Connie Unser of Latham, NY Denise Estep (Arthur) of Bradenton, Fla, Sue Barnes (Jeff) of Latham, NY and a brother, Ronald Unser Jr. (Michele) of Castleton, NY along with many nieces, nephews and cousins.

At Janet's request there will be no calling hours or funeral services.
