BENNINGTON- Gail Patricia Arasim, 71 a resident of Gage Street in Bennington Vermont passed away peacefully following a brief illness on April 1, 2022
Born on August 29th, 1950, in Bennington, Vermont. She was the daughter of the late Clayton J. and Elaine (Tripp) Prentiss. She received her early education in the Bennington schools and later graduated from Mount Anthony Union High School with the class of 1969. For Nearly 30 years, Gail worked as a Housekeeper for the Vermont Veterans Home in Bennington.
Gail loved bowling, fishing on the great lakes, and participating in the relay for life with the Cancer Center Community Crusaders. Above all Gail loved her family; especially her grandchildren.
Survivors of Gail include her son Tracy Arasim (Alicia) of Albany, New York. A brother, Richard Prentiss of Bennington. Her grandchildren; Eliza and Jedrek Arasim. A nephew Chad Prentiss (Julia Guile) of Bennington. A niece Kelli Walcklak (Michael) of Bennington. A great niece Kaelyn Walczlak. As well as a special friend Kathleen Feeney of Bennington.
Gail is predeceased by a former husband; Rodney Arasim.
Visitation for Gail will be held on Wednesday April 6th from 3pm till 5pm at the E.P. Mahar and Son Funeral Home in Bennington.
A graveside service for Gail will be held on Thursday April 7th at 10am at the family lot in Park Lawn Cemetery on South Street in Bennington.
