Dale W. Gomeau

He was born in Pittsfield, MA on July 8, 1988. He was the son of Robert W. Gomeau and Deborah L. (Nichols) Gomeau. Dale received his early education in Pownal and graduated from Mount Anthony Union High School in 2006.
Dale was a kind, generous, selfless man, who put the people he loved above all other things. His gentle soul and calm demeanor made him stand above all others. He met everyone with compassion and understanding. Dales' passion in life was playing guitar, listening to music ( Sublime) and skateboarding. His greatest joy was spending time with his beagle Bernie and his nieces and nephew.
Survivors include his parents, Robert and Deborah Gomeau of Pownal, VT. A sister, Elisha (Gomeau) Santarcangelo, a brother- in -law Adrien Santarcangelo, two nieces Payton and Paige Santarcangelo and a nephew Aiden Santarcangelo of Bennington, VT. A special Uncle and Aunt William and Sharon Nichols of Pownal, VT. Three cousins Kirbie and Kayla Nichols of Pownal, VT and Shannon Tatro of Bennington, VT. An Aunt Nancy Christian of W. Palm Beach, Fl. He was pre-deceased by a brother Robert "Bobby" Gomeau with whom he is now happily reunited with, maternal grandparents Bernard and Lillian Nichols of Pownal VT and paternal grandparents Frances and Jean Gomeau North Adams,Ma.
Friends may call at the Mahar and Son Funeral Home on Friday July 8, 2022 from noon to 2:00 p.m.
The burial will follow at the family lot at Oak Hill Cemetery in Pownal.
