Britaney May Wilkinson

BENNINGTON- Britaney May Wilkinson, 35, a resident of Bennington, Vermont, passed away unexpectedly on March 27, 2022, at Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center in Lebanon, New Hampshire.

Born May 13th, 1986, in Bennington. She was the daughter of Cindy Shand. Britaney received her early education in Bennington and attended Mount Anthony Union High School. She had married Jeffery Raker, with whom she later separated. Britaney was a stay at home mom and enjoyed going all out for her two children; especially on their birthdays.

She attended Green Mountain Christian Center in Bennington. She loved her children more than anything. She was outgoing, rambunctious and loved to dance.

Survivors of Britaney include her mother; Cindy Schand (David Martin Sr.). Her former husband Jeffery Raker, and their children Eric Michael, and Serenity May Raker. A brother Tom Wilkinson, and an aunt Elizabeth Rottler. Britaney was also survived by many loving Aunts, Uncles, and Cousins.
She is predeceased by her maternal grandparents Florence Wilson and Douglas Shand. Her uncle Loyal Rottler. As well as her daughter; Cynthia Elizabeth Raker.

Visitation for Britaney will be held on Sunday April 10th from 1pm till 2pm with a memorial service beginning at 2pm at the Bennington Rural Fire House on Willow Road in Bennington, Vermont.

If friends should desire, contributions in memory of Britaney may be made towards her funeral expenses through the office of the E.P. Mahar and Son Funeral Home 628 Main Street, Bennington, Vermont 05201.
