Bridget Doheny (Moloney)

Bridget "Bridie" Doheny (Moloney) was born June 17,1934 in Tournafulla, County Limerick, Ireland. Bridie was the oldest of six children, Mary, Dan, Ellen, Betty and Joan. She came to the United States Saint Patrick's Day 1954 and resided in the Bronx, where she met Michael Doheny of Killkenny City, County Killkenny, Ireland, at an Irish dance. They were engaged and later married on September 14, 1957. She is survived by her four children, William (Mary), Betty (Mel), Michael and Eileen (Rob). Beloved nanny of William (Ali), Matthew, James, Michelle, Nick Cailey, Dylan and Conner. Bridget has been a resident of Bennington, Vermont for the last 2 1/2 years. She loved cooking, gardening, and visiting with family and friends. Friends may call at the Mahar and Son Funeral Home on Thursday February 4th, 2021 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM. The funeral will be held from the Mahar and Son Funeral Home directly following visitation, at 1:00 PM. The funeral services will be streamed live on Zoom.
