Benjamin Robert Bacon, 66, resident of Bennington, VT passed away at the Jack Byrne Center at Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center in New Hampshire on April 25, 2025.
Benjamin was born in Bennington on November 24, 1958 - the son of the late Benjamin F. and Majorie (DeForge) Bacon.
Benjamin was a self-employed carpenter and framer for many years. He also did flooring as well. He loved building houses and would be on the job from start to finish. Benjamin also enjoyed reading books on woodworking. Being an outdoorsman, he enjoyed hunting, gardening, and farming in his spare time.
Benjamin is survived by his children; Ashley Marie Bacon and Taylor Bacon, both of Hoosick Falls, NY. Two grandchildren; Layla Jade Pero and Severi Joseph Davendonis.
In addition to his parents, Benjamin is predeceased by two sisters and a brother-in-law; Nancy and Kevin Estes, and Debbie Strohline.
Gravesides services will be held on May 8, 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Village Cemetery located in Bennington - 130 Morgan Street, Bennington, VT 05201.
