There, Anne continued her education and graduated from Bennington High School.

On July 15, 1961, Anne married George C. Hooks Jr. at the First Baptist Church in Bennington. During their marriage, they lived in Red Oak Iowa, Freemont Ohio and Cartersville Georgia.
