I’m pretty much still at loss for words. I’ve known Sterling along with most of the family since high school. Sterling was always fairly quiet and rather soft spoken but would definitely chat if I met him out and about somewhere. So to Nancy , Lance, Heidi and Preston you’re not alone in this point in time. All of us that knew Sterling are grieving our loss. Sterling when you see your Dad Gordy tell him to save me a seat and he and I will talk like we did at the store.

When we were young we were going to do everything. How quick time catches up to us. Even though we have grown old we are always kids at heart. We were going to build cabins in the woods, And fish till the sun went down. And explore the never ending mysteries that youth inspired.
I will see you in the resurrection my brother. There we will be able to explore forever with a heart of youth.

I am very sorry to hear about the passing of Sterling. When he was a student at Mt Anthony he worked with me on Lapidary projects & he produced some outstanding pieces of lapidary world. I have very good memories of him working in Room 109. Rest In Peace Sterling.

I remember Sterling from Beech Street school first grade. I remember going to his house on Morgan street extension as a young boy. and fishing with Sterling in the south stream behind the house. My deepest sympathies to his family and friends.
