Obituary

Rose Marie Weber , 62, a resident of Barber Pond Road in Pownal, Vermont died unexpectedly Wednesday August 19, 2020 at the Albany Medical Center in Albany, NY after a difficult battle with Cancer.

She was born in Bennington, Vt January 17, 1958. She was the daughter of the late Christopher Gates and Charlotte (Jordan) Gates who survives.

Rose Marie was a lifelong resident of Pownal and received her education in Bennington at Mount Anthony Union
High School. She married George Gary Weber on July 2, 1993. Gary previously passed away on December 2, 2013.

For over 20 years Rose Marie was employed at the Southwestern Vermont Medical Center in the Housekeeping Department where her warmth and happiness was felt by all who knew her.

She enjoyed cooking, shopping, her pets and especially enjoyed spoiling her grandchildren. She will be very dearly missed.

Survivors include three sons, Jason Davis and Michael C. Davis of Pownal, VT and Donald E. Davis of Williamstown, MA. Six grandchildren, Sophia, Olivia and Rylee Davis, Bryanna and William Thomas and Cole Cummings. Three brothers, Christopher, George and Nick Gates and a sister Deborah George. Along with several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Services for Rose Marie will be held at the convenience of the family.
