David N. Cook, 77, a resident of West Road Park in Bennington went home to be with the Lord on Sunday June 14, 2020. Mr. Cook passed away peacefully at the Southwestern Vermont Medical Center. He was eager to see his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

Every time I saw Dave at home depot , ( he went there as much as I did) he would point me to the lumber deals. We would talk and laugh . He was a humble, and kind person who I enjoyed talking with. Last time I saw him was at Price chopper. He told me he was not doing well, and he was in my thoughts and prayers since then. I shall miss his smile, his greeting, his presence. He is with Jesus. I pray for his wife and family. Mike Morneault

So sorry to read of Dave's passing. Sorry for your loss, not his. He is truly enjoying himself right now as he sees firsthand all that he only knew about in theory before. We will miss running into him at Home depot, Walmart, Price Chopper or anywhere else we used to see him . Gladly, the day is coming when we too will be sharing with him again. Looking forward to it.
