Marjorie Ann Rogers, 63, a former resident of Bennington, VT and more recently of Cambridge, NY died Tuesday April 3, 2012 at Ellis Hospital in Schenectady, New York following a long illness.

She was born in Bennington, VT December 2, 1948. She was the daughter of the late Albert and Josephine (Chandler) Dean. Marge received her education in Bennington and was a 1966 graduate of Bennington High School. She later attended Castleton State College.

Marjorie married Mark J. Rogers February 14, 1991 at their home in Center Cambridge. She has been employed for the last twenty five years by her friend John Chapman as a bookkeeper.

Marge enjoyed traveling and cooking. Her family was her main interest.

Survivors include her husband Mark J. Rogers of Cambridge, NY; a son Robert B. Andrew and his wife Shannon of Williamstown, MA three grandchildren, Sara, Mariah and Brodie; two brothers, Rickey Dean of Burlington, VT and Jeffrey Dean of Bennington; two sisters, Linda Dean-Farrar and Patti Dean both of Bennington, four nephews, Franklin, Justin, David and Adam. She was pre-deceased by a son, Mark Andrew, a brother John A. Dean and a sister Joan A. Dean.

Friends may call at the Mahar and Son Funeral Home on Friday April 6, 2012 from 4:00 to 7;00 p.m.

A memorial service will be held from the Mahar and Son Funeral Home Saturday April 7, 2012 at 11:00 a.m.
